Tincture

A site-specific installation in collaboration with Gail Grinnell at Bitters Co

This project is a reflection on what remains - an exploration of how memory, fiber, and flora compound over time. Our materials are at once delicate and exceedingly strong; ephemeral and intense in turns; ultimately enduring through multiple manipulations. Components of the work have been created, used, and re-used over many years, with colors drawn from locally grown and gathered plants mapping an additional path of source and season.
